C Eighth Grade Class Prophecy Here I, Anna Mae Thomson, sit just an old maid with nothing to do but crochet, and for company I have my beloved cat, Menerva. But some- times I think back over the past twenty-five years since the class of '50 graduated from grade school. The first person that comes to my mind is Larry Wolfe. He is now singing with Spike Jones every Saturday night at 7:00 p. m. His boy soprano voice has sadly dropped to a droning bass. The playboy, Harold Evans has settled down to farming and is very busy trying to think of his kids names. Then there is Darlene Thomson who is working in Barnes Hospital where all the tall, dark, and handsome doctors are. Her worst patient is a St. Bernard dog. Alice Severs is now running a beauty shop called The Severs Beauty Salon. She is so busy beautifying herself for her dates that she doesn't have time for her many, many customers. Now I think of Leslie Voelkel who is running a Motor Bike Wrecking Shop. He is just out of jail for running cars off the road with his new Streamlined Whizzer. Bill Shelton, the smart schoolboy, is a Harvard professor in Connecti- cut. He teaches Girlology. Orland Haun has a bright future as a Democratic politician. As a side- line, he plays Eursel Twiang on the radio. After the program he goes to the parking lot and sticks Democratic stickers on the car windows. Next week he marries Beulah. He has much difficulty trying to get his arms around her, to which she doesn't object. Paul Setzekorn is driving the Ashley Dump Truck. He has five boys who play on the Ashley Alley Rats team, coached by Mr. Jones. Lucille Sensel has used the Super Duper dieting plan and has taken miichlof the weight off. She is now working at the New York Modeling Sc oo . Last but not least is Peggy Keen who has done quite well for herself. She has married none other than Joey Wajtowicz. He is driving the 10th Avenue Street car. They are living with their twins at 102 South Tucker Street. -- :-
