iunior Class History In September 1947, thirty-three Freshmen started in A.T.H.S. We were initiated a few days later and threw away our names of green Freshmen. The officers elected were: President, Ralph Rileyg Vice President, Wayne Greerg Secretary and Treasurer, Terry Kretzg and our sponsor was Mr. Rountree. In August 1948, twenty-eight Sophomres trudged up the steps and pledged their loyalty to good old A.T.H.S. With Mr. Large as our sponsor we elected the following officers: President, Cecil Robinsong Vice President, Terry Kretzg Secretary, Joe Kulag and Treasurer, Herman Kryger. Then in September of 1949, we returned again to A.T.H.S. with twenty-one members, but with dignity as we were now considered upper classmenf' Our sponsors this year are Mrs. Toman and Mrs. Hogancamp, and our officers are: President, Herman Krygerg Vice President, Cecil Robinsong Secretary and Treasurer, Phyllis Bradleyg and Reporter, Joan Keen. During the first part of our Junior year we had a magazine sale to raise money for our Junior and Senior Prom. Then later we presented our class play A Lucky Penny which, we thought, was a great success. Our class has taken part in many activities throughout our three years. Next year when we return as dignified Seniors we hope to accomplish much for our class and our school. Phyllis Bradley
