Senior Class History In the fall of 1946. forty shy little boys and girls marched proudly up the steps of A.T.H.S. Even though we felt important we were still looked upon as green Freshmen. Under the sponsorship of Mr. Fechtig, we elected the following class officers: Billy Cook, President, Carl Udar- holt, Vice Presidentg Joan Robbins as our Secretary and Treasurer. Billy Cook and Lyle Kane were representatives on the Student Council. We were honored by the Sophomores with a Weiner roast, and in turn gave them a party later in the year. Those who departed from our Freshman class were Ervin Skibinski, Kenneth Wilkey, Anthony Ceglinski, and Mary Ellen Martin. We started our Sophomore year with thirty-six members. Mr. Feld- man was our sponsor and the class officers were elected as follows: Lyle Kane, President: Billy Cook, Vice President, Charlotte Ann Hagebush, Secretaryg and Joan Robbins as Treasurer. Lyle Kane and Freida Skibinski were our representatives of the Student Council. Our main events were Freshman-Sophomore Weiner roast, scavenger hunt, and our Sophomore party. Among those who left us were Leonard Wilson, Robert Dennis, and Jean Lois Pierce. Our Junior year we were more or less classiiied as upper classmenf' We began our year by having a total of thirty-three members. With Miss Arnold as our sponsor we elected officers as follows: Marie McKinzie, President, Lyle Kane, Vice Presidentg Nadine Wolfe, Secretary, Joan Robbins as Treasurerg and Marie McKinzie and Joan Robbins were our representatives of the Student Co.uncil. The main events of our Junior year were the play, Calamity Kids, and' our banquet with our theme being Slow Boat to China. Those leaving our class at the end of our .Junior year were Barbara Hartman, Dolores Rynski, and Franklin Kreid. At last we entered our Senior year with a total of thirty. Mr. Konrad was our sponsor and the class officers were elected as follows: Kenneth Conley, President, Joe Szatkowski, Vice Presidentg Evelyn Heck, Secre- taryg and Marilyn Someske as Treasurer. During our last year at A.T.H.S. we have enjoyed giving the play Mother Is a Freshman and our Senior trip. We have also enjoyed being the guests of the Juniors at the prom. Evelyn Heck I
