This year’s team participated in six matches based on either match play or stroke play and wound up their con- ference schedule by hosting the Western 4-A Conference Tournament at the Gaston Country Club. oe st BO Page One Hundred Twenty The “Little Wave,” lacking in height, finished the season with a total record of 7 wins and 11 losses. With four returning lettermen and only one senior, the Green Wave was predominately a junior out- fit. All of last year’s pitching staff graduated leaving no regulars at that position; however, a strong staff was de- veloped.
