Stroupe Treasurer Mr. Charles Jarvis Adviser The Key Club was organized in 1955 and is spon- sored by the Gastonia Kiwanis Club. Strong, resolute, and intelligent leadership is the goal of this group of elected high school young men. Membership is made up from all three high school classes. Their projects extend over many phases of high school and community activi- ties. They are managers for the Student Store at Ashley High. Their greatest contribution to the school is as a moral and intellectual force, which makes possible a higher appreciation for learning and a keener conscious- ness of right, justice, patriotism, and good will.
