BASEBALL I he 1957 baseball team planned a stiff schedule of sixteen games. The Wake Forest Freshman team was again added to the Green Wave competition. Coach Gaither Cline returned to Ashley Senior High as base- ball coach. He played three years of varsity baseball and helped to win three state championships. With five varsity players from 1956, Ashley High will have an outstanding series of baseball games and make a strong bid for the state title.
