Class Will We, the Senior Class of 1954, being sound of mind do hereby declare this document to be our last will and testament. To the school we leave the patter of our little feet on the stairs and the melodious sound of our little voices echoing through the hallways and the wads of paper, gum, and scratches wherever they may be at this time. To the faculty we leave the memories of our gentle dispositions. To the Janitor we leave the mess that has accumulated in the making of this yearbook. To the Juniors we leave our ability to get things done at the last moment. } To the Sophomores we leave our money making ability. To the Freshmen we leave these parting words, Keep on Climbing. Last but not least we the following individuals do hereby will these prized possessions and abilities: I, Lorraine Biggerstaff, will my five sisters to Dollie, then She would never say, I wish I had a daughter. I, Nancy Wickerham, will my knitting ability to Bill Stackhouse. I, Janice McGrew, will my ability to run around in art class and get an A to anyone who wants to be a Slave. I, Norman Rose, will my good looks to Ferdinand Schortgen. I, Evelyn Stackhouse, will my quietness to Charles Hampshire. I, Dannie Hamman, will my ability to get my lessons after I get to class to anyone who may be as busy as I have been. I, Phyllis Sanders, will my job in the lunch room to Miss Gfeller, so she can work her way through school. I, Floyd Schwartzengraber, will my Love Book to Carl Kessler so he can get a girl and keep her. I, Duane Wiler, will my ability to keep my nose out of other - people's business to Floyd Parker. I, Jim Warner, will my ability to go with so many different girls to Paul Stahl. Te Don Hamman, will my ability to stand on my head in English class and get away with it to Chuck Hampshire. I, Carole Leas, will my ability to go with boys from other schools to June Wilhelm. I, Jerry Parnell, will my speed to Gilbert Dilley. I, Ann Ayers, will my good grade in conduct to my brother who needs it very badly. 21

20 This is Your Life 1964 DAVID ARNEY is starting his internship in Greenland where there is a certain young nurse. ANN AYERS after waiting for two years has settled down and is raising her own family. LORRANINE BIGGERSTAFF while working in the baby ward at the Lutheran Hospital found a doctor and is raising her own family. PHYLLIS BRENNEMAN after trying for ten years finally won first place in the 500 Mile Indianapolis Race. She is the first woman to win here. JACK BROOKS after ten. years has quite a String of teeth to add to his collection in his dentist office. KATHLEEN DILLEY sent a letter from Africa the other day. It Seems Kathleen and her husband are doing a good job of converting all the natives. AGNES GFELLERS has opened a day nursery in Hamilton and has a fine family of her own. DANNIE HAMMAN is working on splitting the split atom. DON HAMMAN is a personal pilot for Arthur Godfrey. DAVID KING after being named American Poet Laureate is the head of the Library of Congress. CAROLE LEAS while teaching found her one and only and is happily married. JANICE McGREW is now in Indianapolis having an Art Exhibition, where she is the Director of the Institute. ROSEMARY MILLER has her own Beauty Shoppee and is married and is living in Waterloo. JERRY NEWCOMER is starting the first Card College in America. JERRY PARNELL has started his doctoring in a local community. EVERETT REINOEHL has come back to be the Minister at Cedar Lake Church. He is living in that new house. NORMAN ROSE has taken Bob Hope' Ss place and is player manager of Cleveland Indians. PHYLLIS SANDERS is married and is keeping house for you-know-who. FLOYD SCHWARTZENGRABER iS manager of No-Sag in Kendallville. BERDENIA SHIPE after working for three years, decided to start her own family. EVELYN STACKHOUSE is married to the Smithfield Trustee and is trying to get a new living suite for the Home Ec. Department. NANCY WICKERHAM is busy keeping the coffepot hot for Jerry while he is out on cases. JIM WARNER is busy raising little dears up in Canada: DUANE WILER is happily married and is head buyer for W D.
