The campus expanded to include the Ashland Theo- logical Seminary for the training of min- isters and other Christian related posi- tions. ln the past two years Ashland Col- lege has given opportunities for incarcer- ated men at the Mansfield Fleformatory to earn college credit with courses taught by dedicated Ashland professors. Education and athletics seem to go hand in hand. Basketball anyone? Our departments today are many and are varied to offer the best pos- sible curriculum and foundation for students in the many degree areas. Athletics have played an impor- tant role in the structure of Ash- land's history. Since the early 1900 s women have been in sports at Ashland.
