It remained a center for class- rooms until its destruction in 1953. On October 19, 1953, a fire of undetermined origin swept its way through the structure. When Ezra C. The stu- dent enrollment increased especially ' the six ies because of the Viet Nam War. What was unforeseen in the sixties became apparent in the sev- enties. With Peace Time the drop in student enrollment became a major concern. ,,. .
