The growth of Ashland College, although readily apparent physically, does not reveal its intrinsic development. Qualita- tive faculty growth and creative student development do not manifest themselves only in the classroom. Care, concern, and participative responsibility in all activities on the part of each member of the Ashland College family aids in the de- velopment of a m'ore meaningful person. Each new building's groundbreaking brings to light the planner's smile of completion and the twinkling promise in the educator's eye. Each new Ashland College graduate is a living groundbreaking. He represents more than a four year stay in schoolg he represents the completion of an apprentice- ship in growth and development. Mere graduation from college and a diploma is ,Nat a guarantee of a truly educated and creative person, but Ash- land College, through an integrated program of academic and extracurricular activities, is doing its part to S56 Utd!
