In the new division, the Sen- ate consists of elected officers, elected representatives of each class, publication heads, and the presidents of all campus organiza- tions. The Senate is responsible for the promoting of social activi- ties and acts as a buffer between the student body and the admin- istration. Among their programs this year have been several off-campus par- ties and dances. The planning of Monday chapel services is within their realm of duty.
