staff make it happen! The School Board and staff combine to attend to the business of running the school district, taking care of tasks, such as planning budget, setting curriculum, hiring teachers and staff, directing classroom learning, coaching athletics, and sponsoring activities. The staff keeps busy August through May with the school activities. The 1987-88 school board members Dena Allison, Bill Rich, Doug Inderlied, Leanne Pike, president; Aaron Bates, vice president; Charles McKinney, and Harry Walker (not pictured) all work together to make the USD 220 school system run smoothly. Dale Moody (far left), superintendent, dressed casually for the BYOB (Bring Your Own Banana) banana split party for all staff members after a football game. Dean Schultz (left) transferred here this year from Kingman to be the junior and senior high principal. Debbie Daily (left) has been the superintendent’s secretary for five years, keeping books and the school budget for the year; she is also Clerk of the Board, taking minutes at all Board meetings and signing checks. Debbie Dome (above) is the school secretary and also the principal’s secretary. Some of the things that she does is put records on the computers, makes the daily bulletins, and makes signs and banners on the computer. 17
