Faculty Makes Changes Having troubles in English? Mr. Leland Neal Hill explains gerunds to the junior class. He also teaches Journalism, 7th grade and Freshman English. Mr. Hill has been teaching school in Ashland for 19 years. Mr. Duane Coats, math teacher, often uses an overhead to present his advanced math lessons. Mr. Coats also teaches Geometry and three classes of Computer Science. i Mr. Tom Gilmore shows the 7th grade the correct way to use a microscope. V.'- . Faculty made a few changes this year. Mrs. Linda Wilson began teaching Art in addition to a Vocational English class; Mr. Duane Coats moved his classroom to the east side from the west side of the school, and Mr. Bob Smyth joined the teaching staff. H £ Mrs. Barbara Gillaspie spends time grading papers. Mrs. Gillaspie teaches General Math. Need a book? Deloras Baker previews one of the newest books in the library. Mrs. Baker has updated the library with computers, video tapes, typewriters, and VHSs for student use. Mr. Lenz explains the elements of Science to Brenda Price, freshman. Science teacher Mr. Steve Lenz listens attentively to Darrell Smith's Physics question. Mr. Lenz began teaching two years ago. He also teaches Chemistry, 8th grade Science, General Science, coaches junior high boys basketball and Cross Country. Faculty 17
