MESSAGE FROM THE SUPERINTENDENT To Students of U. S. D. No. 220: Congratulations are extended to each of you for a very productive and rewarding school year. I sincerely hope that you feel a real sense of accomplishment for the effort you have put forth. The staff and board of education join me in extending our best wishes to the Senior Class of 1973, who have now completed a major milestone in their lives, that of formal elementary and secondary education. May the future bring you success and happiness. Sincerely, I 0 n Students, teachers, and other patrons of the Ashland-Englewood school system join in expressing their thanks to Henry Gardiner, chairman of the school board, for his work in behalf of the community and its educational institutions. Mr. Gardiner announced in February that he would not seek re-election. During his 12-year tenure, Mr. Gardiner devoted numerous hours and many talents in his untiring efforts to improve educational opportunities through better facilities staffed with highly qualified instructors and administrators.
