Gosh! You're pretty, Ron-dha. Seniors' Glorious Float Hey ! This is private. Studious? Jim? Inga Now look, you're supposed to miss. Mad Accountant at WORK! I'm gonna be a secretary, just like my mommy. Come now, it can't be that interesting! I would pose, but I'd like to finish this column. Wonder who the model was? How's this for the perfect pose? Lots of packaging, but just what did you order? It's a good photographer who can do that. If you think I can do this fast, you should see me with cards. Do we want to know the joke? Senior Class Poem In calf roping, Perry's sure to go far; For everyone knows, he's our cowboy star. Terry Arnold as Archie, he's a pro. In the Senior Class Play, he stole the show. Debbie Amspiger to Kansas U. will go, When and why she'll come home, only Jim knows. Cetra Baker, she's Kenny's dream. For our homecoming, she was really a queen. Cathy Ball, our old married gal, To everyone she is really a great pal. Next on the list is our Miss Bell, With Jane's help, our years have been swell. Kenny Betschart, football's his game; At Garden JuCo he'll be a big name. C is for Carter a hurdling man; As a lawyer he'll soon be trying his hand. Dale Coverdale, our basketball star, As a pharmacist, he'll surely go far. D is for Dome, Ben's added a lot. In football this year, guard was his spot. For good ole Darren, prohibition's his thing, His voice in the pulpit someday will ring. G is for Graves, Carol's a gas, She's added a lot to our Senior Class. Ruth Harden-a very smart gal, Cause she's the Senior Class Val. Then there's Sandy, a real tall lad, When he's on the team, everyone's glad. H is for Hennigh, Randall so shy, When you get to know him, he's really a nice guy. Bob Jones, one of our great athletes, Everyone stares at one of his feats. K is for Kennedy, our cheerleading star, As a hairdresser, she'll surely go far. Then there's Kidd, Tijuana that is, In all of her classes she's really a whiz. Karen with her trusty punch card, At computer programming she'll work hard. Kathy will soon have to go To Fort Hays State fof'her beau. Good old Dave with his great grin, Out west, Trinidad is waiting for him. Greg, Pike's his last name, At Liberal next year, he'll spread the Gomez fame. Rick Pike, our Student Council President, In track his best talents were lent. Deidra Rankin, Miss South Central is she. Miss Kansas next? We'll wait and see. Teri Swanson, a bouncing young miss, Her life is full of happiness and--Bliss. W is for Washburn, a pretty young lass; As a music major, she'll be the head of her class. Ron Watson, his heart is on fire, The young lady's name is Mary Jo Krier. Inge Wittenbreder our foreign student from across the sea. In July she will return to Germany. Ron Work, our future president in 1992, All Seniors know what a great job he'll do. 14

Everyone knows that murder and blackmail are frequent occurrences, but the blackmailer just cannot be someone's neighbor, and the murder could never take place next door! Or, could it be that a normal family such as the Carstairs is to find itself in the midst of just such goings on? The hilarious antics of the three children add humor and eventually lead to the answer to a puzzling riddle. 16
