Student Council Serves School Posing for a group picture are the AHS 1966-67 Stuco members. FROM LEFT TO RIGHT: Jim McNickle, Judy Bell, Ron Seacat, Joyce Mosshart, Jim Daily, Mike Harden, V. An integral organization in high school, the student council, traditionally strives for school unity. The 1966-67 Council, under the able leadership of President Frank York, exemplified this purpose. Activities sponsored by Stuco ranged from staging all school elections to providing milk for refreshment at the newly established 10-minute morning bjreak. The school enthusiastically received the Yokum-Scragg Play Day. Rivalry prevailed as the Yokums dominated the competition in the nail-pounding, pie-eating, and sack racing events. Two disc jockeys from KEED, Dodge City, entertained at the dance to complete the day. Vice-President Mike Harden and Secretary-Treasurer Mary Ann Urban were kept busy supervising the basketball concessions. Tug of war resulted in the declaration of Sr. 67 as Strongest. It was a very good year! 28
