ADMINISTRATION Behind every successful school is a good administration. A good administration involves executives of ability and dedication, working tirelessly for the betterment of each student and the school as a whole. The administrators at Ashland, Mr. Griffin and Mr. Hitchcock, keep the public schools running smoothly. An important part of their jobs is the setting and maintaining of academic standards. These men work closely with the Board of Education to serve the youth of Ashland. They strive to provide the finest possibilities for developing the highest capacities of students. We in Ashland are proud of the com -prehensive curriculum and wonderful school facilities which are available to us. We thank our outstanding administrators who have guided AHS through a prosperous and successful school year. Mr. Hitchcock and Mr. Griffin are busy discussing school policies. MR. BOARD OF EDUCATION BOARD MEMBERS FORM SCHOOL POLICY The Ashland Board of Education is composed of three members who serve three year terms. One member is elected each year at the annual school meeting. The many responsibilities of the board members include the formulation of school policies, establishing a budget and operating an ever-growing institution. The business of our school system is conducted at the monthly meetings of the board. The Ashland public school system continues to grow and improve through the cooperative efforts of the board and school administrators. We are grateful to the school board members who give so willingly of their time. They are truly dedicated citizens acting as public servants for the betterment of our school system.
