J A ITS Y-TEENS This year the Y-Teens worked hard to complete their projects. One project was the sale of candy. The candy was so good, that even the ants invaded the candy boxes! The busy girls also collected stamps to provide milk for needy children overseas. Y-Teen girls helped members of the YWCA with UN Weekend. Mothers of Y-Teen girls were honored with a Mother-Daughter Brunch in May. This lovely occasion was a fitting climax to an active year in Y-Teens. Miss Myrna O'Neil is the sponsor of this organization . HI-Y OFFICERS: FRONT ROW: 1-r. V. Pres. Virginia Mull, Pres. Jane York, Sec. Kathy Baker; 2ND ROW: Treas. Mary Ann Urban. HI-Y AND Y-TEENS The industrious members of Hi-Y sold popcorn at various athletic events this year. The money from the sale was the source of income for the Hi-Y club. At the meetings, members enjoyed participating in intramural sports, such as volleyball and soccer. These games followed the devotional reading. The annual picnic-softball game was held early in the spring. The highlight of this picnic was the softball game between the Hi-Y boys and the faculty. The sponsors of Hi-Y are Mr. Headrick and Mr. Gilmore. OFFICERS: F. R. 4TH FROM LEFT. Vice P. Don Harden, Pres. Bill Wilson, Treas. Mark Kraft.
