Ciass Pot There was a superintendent who lived in a school, He had so many seniors to teach the golden rule. As a solution to his problem, he sent us on our way; But we wrote this little poem, and left it here to stay. Jl B-is for Barnes, the girl who came this year; There is always excitement when our ’’Oakie is near. C-is for Cunningham whose first love is his car; If he'll just leave the girls alone, we know he'll go far. G-is for Greene, the president of our class; When there's work to be done she’s a willing lass. H-is for Harkness, our boy with the brain; When he studies, it isn't a strain. H-is for Henderson, the goon of our class; With those grades of hers, do you think she’ll pass? H-is for Hurd, one of the wits in our bunch; She always says something which ends in a punch. K-is for Klinger, the future teacher in our class; From her pupils we're sure she'll get no sass. L-is for Lacer, our Zorro fan; He seems to live in fantasy land. M-is for Messer, our annual staff editor; When it comes to such work, she hasn't a competitor P-is for Pendergast, our Romeo shy; The girls would sure change that if he would just let them try. P-is for Preisner who always has a smile on her face; When it’s fun you’re after, she’ll sure set the pace. R-is for Randall, our athletic star; He sure goes whizzen in that little brown car. R-is for Reed who has 4-H work galore; When there's work to do, she'll always do more. S-is for Smith, the girl who’s caught her man; When it comes to boys, Ted is her only fan. We hope you will remember us For each little trait and deed; Now all we experienced seniors say, To all your teachers, take heed. THE STOCKGROWERS STATE BANK Member F.D. I. C.
