The Whiffenpoof song, but the highlight of the day was the presentation of a skit on How to Propose. This brought the history of proposing, including a typical Brooklynese romance, up through the ages to the present time, even the lecturer was nabbed. This was followed by the presentation of awards. School was out once more at 4:30 P. M. Lemonade. . . huh . . . and then get married! ! ! Down at Mory's.

The Senior Class Poem Of 1952 BY LEE EDWARD COX, DONNA SPOTTS, AND MARY ANN STINSON A is for Allen, so fair and so sweet For all around fun she can't be beat. B is for Bowling, a cute little lass, If she's in the crowd you're really with class. B is for Beydler, personality plus, Over whom Mary Ann makes quite a fuss. C is for Callison, pretty and gay, If you run out of words, she'll have something to say. C is for Chambers, with good looks galore, ' Around him any girl's spirits will soar. C is for Cox, a mighty cute kid, Get on the ball girls and put in your bid. C is for Crosby, the joy of the class, We all like Ruthie for she's a cute little lass. D is for Davis, Shirley no less, Everyone likes her, now come on boys confess. D is for Davis, Tommy you see. Quite a photographer, he's turned out to be. D is for Dickey, mathematical wit. Into Homer's life only Phyllis will fit. D is for Dome, an all around joy, A.H.S. will hate to lose this fine boy. F is for Fleming, a handsome brute. All the kids think that Maynard is cute. F is for Fox, a sweet little gal. She'd make anyone a wonderful pal. G is for Gamble, Bubbles is her name, Boy were we glad when this beauty came. G is for Greene, the girl with the looks, She also knows what's in the books. H is for Harmon, a girl that's All Reet , She's the type of person we all like to meet. K is for Keasling, a little chunky wart. But even though he's kidded, he's really a good sport. M is for McMinimy, jolly and bright. She's after Vernon, and she'll get him all right. M is for Mahieu, the fun loving kid, With him around our sorrows all are hid. M is for Matthews, the brains of the group, Ask him anything for he's got the scoop. M is for Musgrove, the wittiest of all, He's really swell with a lot on the ball. N is for Neihart, pretty and dark, She has added to our class quite a big spark. P is for Preisner, a handsome boy, With him around there'll always be joy. R is for Riley, a swell young lad, When he's near we're always glad. S is for Snell, the artist you know. Without his talents there would have been woe. S is for Spotts, Donna's her name, She's on the track that is headed for fame. S is for Stinson, the humorist, you bet, On top is the place where she should be set. T is for Theander, so shy and so neat. To get to know him is really a treat. Y is for York, a hit on the drum. She made the rhythm for everyone.
