FRESHMEN Mixed-up kids'I was a fitting title for the freshmen who were forced to enter the building through the back door during the first week of school. The first couple of months they had a hard time doing things right. They walked down the wrong side of the halls, attended the wrong classes, and were on the wrong side of the teachers. They were soon, however, a vital part of high school life as they became adjusted to their new surroundings. xr--..- SEATED: Bob Ford, z'ire-premleuf.' Karen Schopf, .f6l'I'6f!lI'.1.' General math students ponder over one of their Friday tests. Another rough day at school is over when the bell rings after this sixth period world geography class. SOPHOM ORES Now familiar with the halls of Ashland High, the sopho- mores have really helped in promoting school spirit. The bonfire and Welcome Freshman Dance are good examples of this. Working hard to make a name for themselves and to keep one jump ahead of the freshmen, the whole class buckled down and did a good job to create class unity. if .ff S Steve Harris, wire-preridezztg Zola Palmer, .f6l'l'?f!Zl'J,' Forrest Farmer, prexidefzlg Judy Lake, treafurer. SOPHOM ORE CLASSES To make it, or not to make it . . . that is the question. The motto of s1xth perxod bxology students s Lets make lxke a rot1fer and wheel out of here .fn MW JUNIORS The juniors have worked hard this year on activities out- side of class for the benefit of the entire school, such as the Sadie Hawkins Dance and the Prom. At times these projects were a benefit to the juniors themselves, as an excuse for an assignment not handed in. But remembering this year's events, we find that the juniors have strived successfully to be one of the most active classes at Ashland High School. SENI ORS Yes, it's hard to believe that four years have passed since these graduating seniors first set foot in Ashland High. Throughout their high school days, the members of this class have been leaders and have been successful in every- thing they set out to do. Now, four years later, they look back and remember days of class rooms and studies, fun, companionship, and countless moments that will always make these years the best, the fullest, and the happiest of their lives.
