The prominent part which the junior class played throughout the school year is il iustrated b th - ' ' ' ' ' y e large number of Juniors who participated in Ashland High activities. Out of the eleven first string football players, ten were juniorsg eight of the first fifteen in basketball were juniors and a large number turned out f t , or rack. In addition to interest displayed in the field of sports, the 'class was well-represented in the anniver 1 sary p ay cast, three of the b0y's quartet members were from this class, as were four of the newly organized music group, The Hungry Five. By earning money through concessions and after game dances, the juniors sponsored BF-'PTY ROBISON the annual Sadie Hawkins dance and planned SQCMMY and carried to its successful conclusion the Junior Senior Prom, biggest social event of the year. The prom, which was held in the gym, had as its theme Memories, and the decora- tions Were contrived to represent an old-- fashioned garden party.
