Master Sergeant, tain. RC.T.C. PREPARES DEEE Offering a three year course. Ashland High School promotes military training to the highest degree. Boys are taught the fundamentals of military science and the parts and uses of rifles and other weapons, Each ycar Ashland has one of the finest rifle teams of the nation. Respect for higher ranking men is shown hy the hard work put forth in order to ohtain one of the coveted offices given to third year men. At the military inspection held annually in Central Park, the hoys display the ahilities which they have developed for that year. Hard' work and leadership are rewarded with honors and medals conferred upon worthy recipients. Seriousness prevails as Capt. Meier and Sgt. Russell hold weekly inspection of the R. O. T.
