AMSTUTZ Biology A new building is constructed upon a founda- tion laid early in the life of the edifice. Through- out the completion of the building program the structure is heightened, using this foundation as a base. The strength of the structure depends to a very great extent upon the strength of the founda- tion. If the foundation is cracked and faulty in workmanship, the entire building suffers and is in danger of collapsing. So it is with an education. The foundation of an education is laid early in the life of a student-through his high school years- so that his later life and higher education may be built upon a firm support. Just as the foundation of a building must be strong and complete, so must an educational foundation be complete and free from fault-capable of supporting the build- ing blocks of the future. We entrust the laying of our educational foundation to the hands of these able workmen .... the E l KAY WM. DICKERSON W. G. DALLAS Distributive Education 15 Speech V . - 9-7 L..
