Members of Thes- pians, a Cappella Choir, and Senior Orchestra com- bined their talents lor the musical which was presented February 7th, 8th, and 9th in McDowell Auditorium to capacity audiences. Mrs. Cecelia Kopp, choreographer, created the Siamese version ol Uncle Tom's Cabin, as well as the performances by the king's dancers. Dr. Louis Pete directed the singers and the orchestra, while Mr. William Mast was in charge of the committees and the stage direction of the play. The King and l is the true story of a young English widow, Anna Leonowens, who is brought to Siam to teach the king's wives and children.
