Four years of new experiences, new difliculties, new enjoyments, and new friendships have molded us into more tolerant and understanding people. Our class was rich with varied interests and filled with the desire to succeed. We have had many hopes and goals that have been realizedg others never materialized and were forgotten or replaced. Many who entered four years ago have been unable to weather the hardships and setbacks along the paths they had chosen and conse- quently took a substitute. Others survived defeat with ever mounting endurance and went on to success in what they chose. Laughingly we can now look back to the time when we were freshmen trying so desperately to make ourselves at home, or to our sophomore year, when the shocking revelation was made that high school was no snap. Then came our junior year, which was everything we had anticipated and more. Now the senior year-bigshots in the halls we had timidly trod as freshmen. Of all years this was probably the most pro- ductive and beneficial to ourselves and others. In this year we have crystallized and obtained the polish that only a senior year can give. And so we leave with beautiful memories and the confidence of success as we look to the future equipped with in- dispensable experiences and strength of character. Joy Wahl
