The following is a statement of its most important important features : 1. The school is situated in the most healthful region east of the Mississippi River, in a climate giving the largest opportunity for outdoor life. 2. The grounds contain six hundred acres of land, pro- viding fields for sports, ponds, streams, woods and hills. This land was selected not only with regard to its usefulness, but also for the beauty of its sur- roundings. 3. The buildings were constructed especially for school purposes and are thoroughly sanitary. 4. The courses of study, though broad, are consistent, and give the best preparation to boys who desire to enter any college or technical school or to go into business. 5. The teachers are college graduates, chosen for their fit- ness to instruct and care for boys. 6. The boys are under the constant care and charge of the principals and their families. 7. The religious teachings of the school are non-sectarian. [7]
