We are fortunate to have a variety of fine arts courses from which to choose. Since these courses are electiveszwe are free to pursue an area in which our interest lies. Perhaps the most out- standing of these courses is band, which covers all fields of instru- mental music. Our band is one of the most outstanding in the state and has been awarded a superior rating for several con- secutive years. The chorus develops vocal skills and music appreciation. Among other electives, art, a course that strives to create within us a sense of good design and proportion, teaches us to appreciate art and its values and to discover latent talent.
