PURE GUAGE Through the study of the Romance languages, French and Spanish, students increase their knowledge of the speech, litera- ture, arts, and customs of dif- ferent nations. This opportunity promotes a keen interest in peo- ple of other lands. Chief among the values which the social studies program con- tributes to the individual and to the school progranxis the de- velopment of the ability to meet situations that involve social re- lationships. All of the courses help students to think quantitatively and to reason logically, There are ad- vanced courses for those who are preparing for careers in mathematics and related fields.
