We re upper classmen and xt really feels great' We ve elected our officers for the year Don Monroe Russell Priest Norma Warren and Nubby Hxx were chosen to direct our class activities We ve just returned from seemg Meet Me In St Louis The play was a grand success and much credit IS due each member of the cast as well as the coach M Y 51 Oh Diary we could simply write pages tonight but we re too sleepy' The Junior Senior Prom was heav enly and every single person had a wonderful time' Of course the Jr girls had scratches on their arms from carrying t re e s and the boys had wrenched backs from carrying cement blocks but it was worth it' Stairway To The Stars is the perfect theme for a prom SEPT 51 Dear diary We were grieved by the loss of our friend and advisor Mr H P Story who has re turned to the service of our country but are joyful to have as his successor Mr Joseph M Johnston who already has proven his worth to our school We have chosen our leaders care fully this year Junlor Morgan Ben me Hartman Helen Jones and Clar ence Evans are the officers we have elected for this our last year at A H S We are looking forward to our class play our prom to all the many things that make a persons Senior year a success We ll have fun but there will be a sad note for we will go our separate ways soon But we will have memories diary many memories Betsy West Jeff Bulla Hzstorzans .Y , t . . . .- A y , - , . y . , ' .
