MUSIC Music is certainly alive and well in the Junior School as is attested to by several warmly received concerts both in winter and spring. In addition, the Interhouse Competition in music was never better and to top it all off, the Junior Choir is, at the time of writing, travelling through England and Scotland giving performances in St. Mary's Cathedral, Scotland as well as at various Preparatory Schools in England, and at both the Canadian High Commission and St Mary Le Bow Church in London. This year, too, Ashbury produced a record which included singers and instrumentalists from the Senior and Junior Schools. Choirmaster Peter McLean comments that the year has provided much incentive to strive for excellence. One couldn't agree more!
