Ashbrook wrestling, however, is an entirely different sport. Ashbrook wrestling involves discipline. Team members may have to go on strict diets to qualify for a lower weight class. Practice is also a key factor in pinning oppo- nents. Wrestlers must master various holds and strategies to gain an advantage. They also lift weights and endure grueling wor- kouts to achieve physical fitness and strength. But, winning requires more than strength. Coach Bill Eccles knows that to win, his wrestlers must be mentally tough deter- mined, and willing to give 1002.
