A REPRESENTATIVE ALUMNUS Bishop Fisher received the de- grees of A.B. and B.S. from As- bury College in 1902, the degree of Ph.D. from Boston University in 1908, and the degree of D.D. from Asbury in 1915. He went as a missionaryiof the M. E. Church to India in 1904, where he became pastor of the Agra English Church in 1906. He re- turned to America that same year and became a pastor in Bos- ton until IQIO. He was elected Fellow of the Royal. Geograph- ical Society in IQZI in recogni- tion of his book, India's Silent Revolution. He was elected Bishop of the M. E. Church in 1920.
