STUDENT GOVERNMENT The student body opens and closes 'Y democratic doors to student govern- X ment. Nominations are by student 'VE' y petitions,and election is determined by preferential ballot. ln addition, each class elects its own representa- tives to the Inter-Group Seminary Committee. Student body meetings are held at least quarterly in which each student has an equal voice and vote. cgnfer - roula eminarg ommiffee The Inter-Group Seminary Committee has been organized as a steering committee for the purpose of joint consideration of problems common to the administration and student body. lt is a discussion group where matters of mutual concern are aired and possible solutions suggested by the various groups represented . There are three representatives each from the Board of Trustees, Administration, and faculty combined with nine representatives from the student body, making a committee of eighteen members.
