The ‘Gems of Grace’ broadcast is financed through the kindness of Asbury students and faculty members who make individual pledges for its support. The speakers for this semi-de- NATHAN BOND ‘Syi votional-evangelistic program are drawn almost entirely from the student body. The organization consists of two statfs—an executive staff and a program staff. The offi- cers of the first are elected by the student body and they are in turn responsible for appointing the program staff. A general director serves si- multaneously as head of the two groups. Lyle Flinner served in this capacity during the summer and fall quarters being replaced by Nathan Bond winter and spring quarters. ‘Gems of Grace’ was originally a fifteen min- ute Sunday morning program on station WHIR. The program time has now been extended to thirty minutes and is heard every Sunday after- noon on the Versailles station at 1:30 p. m. A poll taken in August, 1949 revealed that WVLK had the largest listening audience in the Blue- grass area at 1:30. Let us pray that our pro- cram will be a real spiritual blessing to those Ashbury Kadio Fellowship
