RON MORSE De Coordinator Distributive Education, commonly referred to as DE, identifies a program of education. DE students learn and earn in the pro- gram by spending part of the day in class and part of the day on the job. The cooperative program is not designed to develop distri- butive specialists, but ra- ther to provide balanced, comprehensive, instruc- tional programs in all areas of dis- tribution and marketing; to aid in improving techniques of distribu- tion, and to help the student develop and understand the social and eco- nomic responsibilities of those en- gaged in distribution. The DE class locally is a part of the public school system and operates through high schools and junior colleges. It is NOT a program separate from the regular school curriculum.
