Four years of rushing to classes, writing research papers, and yelling for the home team are climaxed on Graduation Day with the principal's firm hand- shake and the receipt of a roll of parchment. Anticipation, excitement and the final reward for achievement, mingled with feelings of regret at leaving familiar scenes and faces, and some appre- hension ofthe future are all a part of the graduate's wandering mind as the speaker offers congratulations and last minute advice. The opportunities ahead are great. There will be new friends and places, but the ones of high school life will never be forgotten.

O 1957 'JD' . . . Many tasks and duties come to any senior class--taking measurements for caps and gowns, having pictures taken, ordering announcements, and planning for the big day--Graduation. Besides taking care of these obligations, the class has many other projects. The senior dunking booth made quite a splash at the festival, along with the raffling of two radios. For a float, the seniors made a huge rocket ship of red and white napkins, using the slogan, Destination-Grad- uation .
