The Sophomores have done exceptionally well this year. In the Harvest Festival we found the Sophomores, and their clever float which was titled The Housing Shortage. Starting out with only $1.00 at the first of the year, they raised their fund to $80.00 at the end of the first semester by selling at the games. The Sophomores gave an assembly in February in which the students displayed their talents. JOHN COPLEY. President; LEONARD KELLEY, Vice Pres.; BARBARA ROEP [ 19 J NACK. Secretary.

MISS BURRUS. Sponsor GLENN MORRIS. President: DONNA SHAFFER. Vice President; JANEL MIN-GES. Secretary. This year found a group of ambitious and energetic freshmen holding up the ideals of Arvada High. During the Harvest Festival the Freshman Class was represented by a vegetable float and a confection stand. Then, with the coming of football, basketball, and wrestling, we found these up-and-coming freshies doing their bit behind coke, coffee, and hot dogs. St. Peter at the Gate, a laugh provoking assembly program, was presented by the freshmen in January. [iO]
