SOCIAL: Bressed-up and sport , date and stag, school and Hi-T or Pep Club dances drew student attendance. The only formal affair was the Junior-Senior Prom, held at the Albany. Mary Lee Vanderhoof was queen in 1943. Class and outside assemblies also provided extracurricular interest, as did noon dancing, social hours, and, for freshman and senior girls, the Big Sister teas.
