Some of the events in which they have participated are the Spring Concert,the annual Operetta, White Christmas, Baccalaureate, and Commencement. This year the Glee Clubs gave an excellent performance of Norwegian Nights an operetta based on the life of Edvard Grieg, the famous composer.

Visiting Day, White Christmas, Baccalaureate, and Commencement , the band and orchestra, under the direction of Mr. King, add much to the success of these school activities. Mr. King also promoted and organized the Twirlersf Club in 1936, which has increased consistently in popularity and membership. Led by Martita Adams, the sixteen high-stepping girls in this year s club, have put on some excellent drills at the games. Harvest Festival, and at Band Days at Colorado University and Denver University. Mr. King has given the junior high school students and the accordionists a new opportunity by organizing a beginners band and an accordion band. It is the duty of these representatives to bring all class problems to the weekly council meetings, where they are discussed under the supervision of the sponsor, Mr. Peck. This year the council has, through the auspices of the National Assembly Association, secured several very interesting assemblies. Much credit is due this group for the success of the school activities. This year’s representatives were: Seniors, Gladys Weutig and Walt Smith; Juniors, Marie Morris and Tom Unruh; sophomores, Robert Muench; freshmen, Jackie Keller. Editor- J.
