FRIENDSHIP Just a word or two of praise We have hoped long, long to hear And the dreariest of days Glows with gladness and good cheer. Just the clasp of some one’s hand Or a look of kind good will, And the triumph we have planned Urge us bravely onward still. Just a word that is sincere When the way is rough and long.
