Not knowing much about one another We all had one dream in common To succeed and be the very best. We never thought of ourselves As being better than others, Just brighter With goals in mind. Our worlds joined together as one. As one we hurried the time, The time to reach for the year 89”. Together we stand united as one. It leads the mind into Unexplored pathways of understanding. It coaxes the heart of purity of motive. It stimulates faith with new rea sons. It frees love from the bondage of self. It cleanses the soul for a new beginning. It reaches into chaos and pulls out order. It gives eyes to the blind soul. It takes a day, and makes it the day! It takes tomorrow and makes it now. It promises freedom, but exacts discipline. It challenges the whole being in thought, Word, and deed. To think, speak, and act for life, That we might live the life. This is the measure of truth. by James Smith Bailey, Alberta Bayles, John Baywk, Alan Benedetti, Isabel Bishop, Wanda Blaine, Tanya Brown, Amiel Brown, Mr. Mrs. William Brown, Mr. Mrs. William Brown, Oliva Campbell, Malekatah Carden, Jan Carter, Mrs. Helen Chapman, Debra Clanton, Calvin Clanton, Laura Cruz, Jose Manuel Dennard, Mr. Eddie J.
