1. Old Home Week! 2. Bingville General Store 3. Heaven was never like this! 4. F I eudin', a:nd Fightin' On December 2, we had a real treat in the form of Hillbilly Courtship, the lunior Class Play. It was hilariously funny. Luke Stilsby, a mountain boy, desired to court Emmy Peppin, but Ma Peppin wouldnt have it because of a family feud. Wash leddo, a nitwit, wrote to a marri- age bureau to find mates for Pa Stilsby and Ma Peppin, Louis Cat- turo and Bridget O'Flannigan came in answer to leddo's letter. A mad mix up resulted, but every- one found the right mate before the grand finale. Between acts Peggy Leather- man sang with an honest-to-good- ness hillbilly twang. Miss Whit- lock produced the show. Luke Stilsby ,,... Robert Graham Emmy Peppin ...... loan Gaffney Ma Peppin ....... Nancy Pugsley Pa Stilsby ,... ..,. H arlin Turner Lulu Triffit ....,....
