Despite the tact that our tirst tearn 2-.ron but six garnes this season, there some outstandlng playing done. Bob Mclinelly, a Senior, was the high point rnan. l-le played a good detensive garne and handled the ball like a veteran. Al Conlin, a Senior, used his height to advantage. Getting the re- bounds helped to make him second high in total points. Darrell Dicks, a Senior, L carne in for his share ot the scoring honors. l-le was outstanding for being cool- neaded and a leader on the floor. Merril Lacy, a Senior, was low on scoring but an excellent passer and feeder. These four Seniors will leave vacancies on the first five that will be hard fought for, Two luniors who showed definite ability were Don Yutzy and Dick Rob- inson. Don was slow getting started but hit his stride at guard, Dick was a good ball handler and worked well in zone defense. Others who let us know they were worth watching were Sophomores johnny Dukeman, lack Mattox, Billy l-lonn, Francis Blaudow, and Freshrrien Dick Yutzy and Maynard Knight. The Pages, our second tearn, with their l2 victories against 8 losses gave -4 promise of a good season next year.
