Many of the students corresponded with students in foreign countries. For this reason the relationship between languages, particularly the romance languages, was discussed. Besides correlating art, architecture, mythology, ancient history, philos- ophy, and languages, the club had several social functions. Chief among these Was the Christmas caroling party at which the students sang the ancient hymns in both Latin and English. The officers Were: president, Nancy Pugsleyg vice-president, lohn Krum- rnel, secretary, Margaret Pyle, treasurer, Rose Stock, reporter, Phyllis Wiseg sergeant-at-arms, Dick Robinson, tribune, Edna Mast. Mrs. Iohnson was the sponsor. K44X
