Field trips enable students to see many fine plays. Examples are Twelfth Night and King Lear. LANGUAGE The biggest news in the Language Department is the new language lab that has been made available to all language teachers. French, Spanish, German, and Latin students can learn by listening to selected recordings or talking on tape in specialized booths. Another addition this year Was the Roman newspaper put out by the Latin Club. Language Field trips, like the one to see Don Quixote, proved to be rewarding and enjoyable experiences. MRS. SCIENCE A variety of subiects and many interesting field trips were oHered by this yearls Science Department. Advanced Chemistry is our newest subject while Advanced Biology and Advanced Physics are being planned for the future. At present, the new Physical Sci- ence Study Committee Physics course is being taught. Because of the great interest shown by our science teachers, many students put forth an extra effort to complete proi- ects for the Regional Science Fair.
