26 PEP BAND: Rallies Crowd Directed by Mr. Richard Jensen, Arthur Hill’s pep band promoted spirit at home basketball games. Members from all Arthur Hill bands participated at Friday night games. Thespians, advised by Mrs. Lorraine Bishop, initiated new members second semester. In January they sponsored a field trip to Hillberry Theater at Wayne State University where Rome and Juliet was performed. Mrs. Margaret Murray’s Ushers Club distributed programs and took tickets at home football games, plays, and concerts.

28 CLUBS: Student Activities Highlights of the year for Girls Athletic Association included a ski trip, sleigh ride, Christmas party, and a hayride in the fall. Miss Patricia Teter, new adviser of the group, organized the club’s events. Designing and building various structures such as canoes and garden sheds were projects of the Industrial Arts Club. Hillites volunteered their time and ability to the blind, handicapped, mentally ill and the sick. Working in area hospitals, schools, and homes, they not only helped needy people, but gained valuable experience as well. we Ps BELOW: Randy Kelly, Jay Martin and Mr. David Blazejewski discuss building tech- niques.
