HONORED: Student Journalists New this year, Campus Life made itself known to Hillites. Meeting every Thursday at various members’ homes, the club went on scavenger and man hunts and attended a conference in Detroit. The Treanor Chapter of Quill and Scroll initiated eight new members at a ceremonial dinner in the spring. SERVICE: Swim Aids Hi-Y Donating their time and swimming skill to gym classes, the boys and girls swim aides assisted and instructed the swimming classes of Mrs. Margaret Dietrich and Mr. Donald Morey. Hi-Y’s, advised by Mr. Gary Knight, staged a variety of activities throughout the year. The highlights were a Hi-Y-faculty basketball game and several pool parties. 29
