In 1964 he published Orchids of the Western Great Lakes Region, a book for which he was awarded the Minnie O. Robinson Memorial Medal. This year Mr. Case earned a listing in the American Men of Science, an honor highly coveted by American scientists. An accomplished speaker, he instructs adult evening clas- ses at Delta College in addition to teaching classes at Arthur Hill.
