Homecoming Ceremonies Bad weather marred the beauty of Homecoming week this year at Arthur Hill. Rain and cold weather dampened the clothes, but not the spirits of the Homecoming Court and the many loyal Hillites who turned out for the game and dance. Thirteen girls seemed to float on “Cloud 9” during the 1967 Homecoming activities honoring them for their selection to the court. Mounds of ‘‘angel hair”’ helped transform the auditorium stage into a heavenly setting for the annual Homecoming-Pep assembly. Cynthia Braun reigned as queen. At the assembly Cindy was presented with the tra- ditional red roses. Mr. Randall Braun, Cindy’s father, was there to congratulate the queen and court. The dance, following the game, was also decorated in the “Cloud 9” theme. Count and the Colony pro- vided the music for dancing and entertainment. SENIOR FULLBACK, Mike Schwartz, runs through rain and mud at the 1967 Homecoming game. Fowler, Jane Middlebrook Ann Cortopassi, Martha Smith, and Connie DELIGHT AND WONDER are expressed by Susan Pinnell, Jane Frick. Middlebrook and Mary Hamather after being chosen for the Court. 21
